Camas

Despite the subnormal temperatures this year and the cloudy skies, the Camas Lilies have once again spread their carpet of blue over the slopes of Highrock Park.

Posted pix of the flowers I found at Beacon Hill. Thanks for your directions. Saw some Camas and now I know what it is.

@JoJo - I don't know if Camas is named after these flowers but I suspect it is since they grown all over the pacific northwest and Camas is the First Nations name of the plant.

@Furry Gnome - You've got some great photos on your blog and the ones you took in Victoria are first class! I'm glad you had a good time.
